SI Protech wins Star Pack Award – London and the Cannex Packaging Innovation Award – Singapore.

SI Protech was invited to be in the “whos who” for in plastics directory by the society of plastics engineers, was a member of this organisation from 1997 to 2003 – opted out in 2004. Still contacted regularly today to re join.

SI Protech worked with Gossard and Sara Lee Lingerie Company with design and development of inflatable bra pouch – SI Protech supplied this system to Gossard through 2001 and 2002 during which time the company turned over more than 2 million pounds.

SI Protech has made technical presentations to the following companies on behalf of the Joseph Company.

NASA – for making ice cream in space – Tomorrows World - UK and Dutch TV (BBC).

SI Protech is now an official supplier of commercial goods to Heineken Brewery, for the past 2 years SI Protech have been employed by Heineken as a pre production company charged with manufacturing all kinds of assembly and moulding equipment to go from Launch quantities (2 – 5 million pcs) to a point where larger Integrator companies are ready to take over. This is very useful for debugging manufacturing systems at the first years of supply.

Mark Sillince is now also in Partnership with Terry Sharp who brings full Toolmaking facility to the company capable of solid model CAD CAM facilities to Compliment Injection moulding facility which has now been built up to 8 moulding machines 6 of which are state of the art purchased brand new from Negri Bossi along with a wide range of new ancillary equipment including fully integrated robotics and various assembly equipment including ultrasonic welding.
