The 2025 Plastics Industry Awards celebrate companies and individuals driving innovation, collaboration and progress throughout the plastics industry. Winners will be unveiled at a black-tie gala ceremony on Friday 21 November 2025, held at the InterContinental London Park Lane.

This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Ellie Taylor, the comedian and actor renowned for her television work and live performances. Known for her sharp, engaging presenting style, Ellie will guide the audience through the evening, bringing both professionalism and energy to one of the industry’s most anticipated events.

Supplier Partnership – Injection Moulding Finalist

SI Protech has been shortlisted in the Supplier Partnership – Injection Moulding category, alongside ARBURG, highlighting the strength and importance of collaboration across the supply chain. These awards recognise how close co-operation between suppliers, manufacturers and end-users can unlock new levels of efficiency, innovation and product performance.

Being shortlisted in this category marks a significant milestone for SI Protech and reflects our long-term commitment to partnership-led manufacturing excellence.

Representing SI Protech

Representing SI Protech at the awards ceremony were Mitchell Joseph, Majority Shareholder, and Stewart Ray, Technical Manager, attending on behalf of the entire team whose dedication underpins this achievement.

Recycling and sustainability remain central themes for the 2025 awards, with strong competition across categories such as Recycler of the YearSustainable Product Design, and the newly introduced Sustainable Extrusion Technologyaward. These categories spotlight organisations developing innovative processes, products and technologies to reduce waste, close material loops and build a more sustainable future for plastics manufacturing.

Innovation continues to be recognised across specialist areas, including the new Polyurethane Innovation Award, which reflects the growing importance of this material sector. The category has attracted high-quality entries from organisations including CovestroEvonik Comfort & Insulation, and the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry.

Recognising People Behind the Progress

Alongside technological achievement, the Plastics Industry Awards continue to celebrate the people shaping the industry’s future. Categories such as Apprentice or Trainee of the YearUnsung Hero, and the prestigious Ambassador Award highlight both rising talent and long-term contributions.

The Apprentice or Trainee of the Year Award, supported by a £500 prize donated by the Polymer Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors Association (PMMDA), underlines the vital role of skills development and mentorship in sustaining the industry.
