Last Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of enthusiastic University of Chichester students from various disciplines, including engineering, software, accounting, and business/marketing.
A Glimpse Inside SI Protech
Our goal for the day was to provide these students with an inside look at what we do and how different disciplines come together to drive innovation. We guided them through our New Product Development (NPD) process, manufacturing operations, and overall business strategies. From brainstorming concepts to design, prototyping, and full-scale manufacturing, we demonstrated how ideas transform into tangible products.
Bridging Theory and Practice
One of the key takeaways from the visit was the importance of collaboration. It was inspiring to showcase how engineering, business strategy, and operational efficiency intertwine to bring new products to market successfully. The students had the opportunity to witness firsthand how theoretical knowledge translates into real-world applications, fostering a deeper understanding of their respective fields.
